shoreguy Posted November 11, 2006 #26 Share Posted November 11, 2006 so what do the souvenir cups look like? are they glass or plastic? i'm not a big souvenir person, but if i'm going to get a drink anyway, i could take the souvenir cup to one of my kids... cheap i know!!! :o Plastic :( Many just pick up one left behind at sailaway before people realize they are paying extra for them. The old glass ones were nice. They were different for each ship and worth paying for:)

monicajay Posted November 12, 2006 #28 Share Posted November 12, 2006 I love the 2 for 1 idea in the Casino. How do you know when they will be offering 2 for 1? On the Sun, my husband and I went almost every evening and were never offered drink specials. Once I saw they were having a ladies special but it was after midnight and by then I am ZZZZZZ's

On the Dawn they usually ran from 12am-2am and apparently it is for table and slots players only.
familycruzer Posted November 12, 2006 #30 Share Posted November 12, 2006 So a smoothie with no alchohol and no special cup would be under $6?
GROOVERS Posted November 12, 2006 #31 Share Posted November 12, 2006 I usually call NCL, ask for the Ship Cordinator, (talk the them only) and they will put a bottle in your stateroom, $40.00 each, almost all call brands. Saves the tips and the hassle of trying to sneak it in...:D
