Cruisin' Video Clips #3 -- Under the Baltimore Bridges

Our third (see note 1) in a series of Cruisin’ Video selections is entitled Baltimore Bridges. It is a 'mood piece', and documents the departure of Celebrity's Galaxy from Baltimore. This was our first cruise, and the sight of the huge ship clearing the high harbor bridges by a matter of inches was -- pardon the word -- awesome.

 

This video may be my sentimental favorite of the bunch (there are several more to come).

(note 1) Videos 1&2 were removed due to my unwitting violation of the "no downloadable files" rule. I'll have to reconvert them and put them on youtube.com, which is a royal pain, but so it goes...

Love watching the ship go under the bridge! I know when the ships leave NY, and we head out to the Atlantic, going under the Verrazano Bridge is just an awesome sight!

Thanks, OT. I really didn't think we were going to clear the second set of bridges. Speaking of that, here's a video of a ship that didn't.
