7SeasLover Posted November 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 26, 2006 You'll enjoy the mini suite. I especially like the curtain... when I cruise with girlfriends, we use it to separate sleeping quarters. When I cruise with my husband I use it to read early in the a.m. w/o waking him. Nice stateroom.

steve1era Posted November 26, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Wendy, Thanks for the pics. My DW & I will be in 11090 on Jan 7. Biggest question is how was the "noise' in the cabin. Specifically, could you hear your neighbors while in the cabin, and could you hear people moving around on the deck above. Just wondering if we might need earplugs for sleeping. Thanks again for posting. Nice pics. BTW, your pics of the GV are the first ones I've seen that give a perspective of where the GV and it's views are with respect to the rest of the ship. Interesting.
Wendy-Europe Posted November 26, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Hi, you see - we had 11090 - it was midship and before our cruise we heard some people, who were afraid of the noise of the pool area (some said, you hear the noise of moving chairs and so on). We have never heard anything - neither the people in the cabins nearby, nor any pool noises (never - not during the day and not in the early morning). The only noise we had, was a bottle of wine we placed in one of the closets (there is s very small one next to the fridge. During the night, the sea was a little bit rough and with every up and down of the ship the bottle rolled left - clack - right - clack.... a towel brought back silence... We slept very well! Cabin size was very comfortable. Wendy
lalapodip Posted November 26, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 26, 2006 nylawman - When are you sailing? If you're sailing 3/11/07, please join our roll call. Wendy - Thanks for the pictures and the cabin info. :)
steve1era Posted November 26, 2006 #10 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Thanks Wendy, We heard the same things as you about the noise with sliding chairs, etc... Glad to hear that it was not a problem for you. Sounds like a very comfortable cabin. We picked this cabin a few months ago mostly because it seems to be close and convenient to most everything. Wendy-Europe Posted November 26, 2006 #11 Share Posted November 26, 2006 Hi, another plus: The laundry room (free of charge - 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, irons) is opposite your room. Bring detergent with you or buy it for 1 $ at the reception. Wendy
