Where will we be tendered in Grand Cayman?

We will be on the Inspiration in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering where the ship comes into port so I can plan accordingly. Thanks!

The ships anchor in Georgetown harbour. The tenders drop you off at the piers in Hog Sty Bay.

Except when they don't.

 

When the wind swings to the northwest (more common in the winter months) ships tender to an alternate site at Spotts. From there you need to hop a bus of taxi to get to anywhere. NOTHING is within walking distance of Spotts for tourists.

 

You will not know which location you will tender to until you get to the island.

That's what I was afraid of. When I Google Earth'd the island, all the cruiseships were on the Southern side of the island.
