Now that everything is set, I am feeling jittery and not wanting to go

as far as the islands being tourist traps, everyone of them will probably have the same kind of areas, so spend as little time as possible there!:( Get yourself on a tour of the island that takes in as much as posiible without taking the whole day. Breathe the fresh air, smell the ocean, get your feet wet, walk in a waterfall, go see the butterflies or the ostriches, eat something unique (using caution), talk to the people and open your heart and mind to the beauty and differences surrounding you. And most of all be happy you are sharing it with someone who loves you!;)
