far733 Posted December 26, 2006 #1 Share Posted December 26, 2006 Has anyone done the horse back riding excursion in Montego Bay, and if so, what are your thoughts about it? Thanks in advance!
tess51 Posted December 27, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2006 My wife and I did a horseback tour through Belinda at A-Zjamaicaplanners a couple of weeks ago. We had a super time and I would highly recommend it. Turned out on the day that we booked, we were the only couple. Very customized, personal service. We were picked up at the terminal by the owner of the stables and had a nice 30 minute drive where he served as our tour guide and explained much about Jamaica. Actual horseback ride up the mountain and then down to the water lasted about 2 1/2 hours. Can't compare this tour to the ship's tours but ours was certainly enjoyable and less expensive. Chris and Gregory from the stables took great care of us.

Wis Posted January 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2007 Do either of you remember the name of the stable you rode at. I booked independently with Hooves America because of all the nice comments on forums I have seen. Was this the place the two of you rode?
tess51 Posted January 4, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 4, 2007 Wis, Chris' stables are called the Double A Ranch. It is not Hooves. The best way to line him up is through Belinda at A-Z Jamaica Planners. They seem to have a good working relationship.
