Dublin - Ireland - what currency?

Hi, Is Dublin taking the Euro or the Pound? My understanding was that Northern Ireland didn't go to the Euro, but the republic did. Is that correct?

You are right the Republic of Ireland (Eire)uses the Euro and The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland uses the Pound.
