Can't find it in the FAQ...Hairdryers

I haven't sailed on the Dream, but here's my experience with hair dryers onboard other NCL ships: The Sea -- totally worthless. The Sun -- slightly better, but not strong enough to dry long, think hair. The Jewel -- just fine, and as nice as mine at home.

Given that the Dream is one of the older NCL ships -- I'm pretty sure even older than the Sun -- I'd recommend bringing your own.

I was just on the Sun last week. I blow dry my hair everyday at home. This was only my second cruise, but on my first cruise (Caribbean Princess) we had a wonderful, powerful hairdryer that was in the actual room. On the Sun, we had a low watt, weak, hairdryer that is located directly above the toilet, and it must somehow be connected to the ship's sewer because the air that blows out smells like sewer gas. I had to leave my hair wet everyday of the cruise. I'm not sure how the Dream's are set up, but I wouldn't take the chance - my grandparents were 2 rooms down and theirs was completely broken.
