dmk Posted January 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2007 I have been desperately searching Hotel sites in Barcelona looking for a room with 2 twin beds. Often, the descriptions are limited or I've been emailing hotels. The latter is quite time consumimg. Can anyone help me out with this?
Rare hcat Posted January 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2007 I think many of them offer twins--try Hotel Atrium palace & Husa Orente (soc) You could also call hotels.com or similar service & they may be able to assist you..
mitaxi Posted January 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2007 We stayed at the Hotel Continental Palacete...and we had a room with twin beds....
cberge Posted January 9, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2007 All you have to do is ask the hotel for 2 beds.there should be no problem, and iupon arrival if you do get them just go to the front desk and make your request known.
nancy anne Posted January 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Hotel Continental Las Ramblas has twin beds. Their rate is 105-110E with free soda, wine, beer, water, fruit and continental breakfast (24 hrs). Their contact site is http://www.hotelcontinental.com
dmk Posted January 9, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Thanks for the help. Actually, we stayed at the Hotel Continental a few years ago. We had twin beds and a balcony. We were there over a very noisy weekend. I am wondering what are the rooms like that don't face Las Ramblas?
eab Posted January 15, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2007 Try the Continental Palacete instead. It is is little further up Las Ramblas and was not noisy when we stayed there. Our room did not have twin beds though they might have them.
cruiseluv Posted January 16, 2007 #8 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I stayed last summer in the Atrium Palace with my son. The room had twin beds but they were pushed together. They claimed all their twins rooms were set up that way! Why bother having twin beds if you are going to push them together?? LOL! We were booked just for one night so it wasn't a big deal.
