SarafinaSarafina Posted January 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2007 I have a balcony cabin that states it has a pullman bed for a third passenger (my 10yo brother). Are these comfortable? How high up are they? Where are they typically placed in a cabin? Would he be better off sleeping on the couch? btw, just when I think I have no more questions, I think of 5 more!:p
SomeBeach Posted January 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2007 My grandsons (6 & 9) found them comfortable. They liked being up there even when they weren't sleeping. I would say about about 5ft up. A 10 yr old......... he won't want the couch, he'll take the pullman. There is a small railing so he shouldn't fall out. Can't help you on the *where* part in your stateroom.

FitzLA Posted January 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 11, 2007 Usually, they are right above the main beds in the room. Remember, the rooms are typically small, so there is not much room for them. If they were anywhere but above the main beds, you would hit your head as they would be in the way
