bob c Posted January 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 24, 2007 In case I want to skip a night in the dining room, is dinner in the Windjammer a sit down meal, or just the same as breakfast and lunch?
PhillyTom Posted January 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 24, 2007 Dinner time in the Windjammer Restaurant is buffet style (same as breakfast & lunch). The selection is usually the same food in main dining room, except for lobster night. No lobster in Windjammer.
rebel55 Posted January 25, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2007 We ate dinner one night in the Windjammer. It was nice. They dim the lights and have cloth napkins and silverware already on the table. They do serve some of the items from the dining room menu.
Merion_Mom Posted January 25, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2007 While you do have to fetch your own food, there will be waiters (usually assistant waiters from the dining room doing a regular rotation through the Windjammer) who will be delighted to get you anything to drink that you require. Some will even want to get you some of your food; i.e., if they overhear you talking about getting some more xyz, they may ask if they can get it for you. That has been my experience, anyway. Sometimes it's nice to *graze* at dinner, taking a little bite of this and a little sample of that. They often have nice stir-fries and such, which you won't see in the dining room. :)
