rabelgirls Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I want to book a cruise for the fisrt week of November. I am going to be on the Victory in less than a month. Should I go ahead and book now or wait until I get onboard? What are the perks that could be associated if I wait and book while onboard? Any suggestions would be great. My traveling companions will be DD 14, DD 10 and DD 5. This will be the first cruise for the two younger ones. DD and I went on the Tropicale in 2000 when she was 7. I was considering a 4 day from Port Canaveral but am open to any suggestions from anyone having traveled alone with their kids. DH has to stay home and work and can't go with us. :( Thanks!! mithryl Posted January 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Credits are the advantage of booking while on board. However, this doesn't determine the best overall price for your cruise. If you know when and where you want to go, and you aren't particular about your cabin type, you can probably wait and get a good deal. If cabin type is important (especially with three kids), booking earlier will ensure you get the room you want.
melika091900 Posted January 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2007 look online 1st... theres companies who offer ship credit already on some cruises.. but compare the prices right before you go and then see what price you get onboard and see which is the better deal with the better perks if any etc.. usually they will just offer free upgrades. or ship credit.. take care melissa
runner15km Posted January 31, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I don't believe you can book a future cruise onboard with Carnival.
