Help: Carnival Miracle Cabin Selection?

Ok, here we go. What do you think is better on Miracle or what are pros and cons:

Both choices on Upper Deck

5110 and 5112 way up front with extended balconies

or

5201 and 5203 with regular balconies/more in the middle of the ship

I received a price online of 2609 per cabin for the assigned balcony cabins above or I could try my luck and pay 2432 per cabin for unassigned/but balcony guarantee. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Not sure if I should save the money but what if I don't like my cabin or am on different decks from my family!?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had to be on the Upper Deck, I would choose 5236 (one of the biggest balconies in that category) for the bigger balcony...especially since some of your family may share it with you from time to time! I wouldn't do 5238 or 5245 because they'd be obstructed by the neighboring cabins.

Of course it would be great if you could get the cabin on either side of 5236 for your second cabin. Then you would have a HUGE balcony when you opened the dividers between them! Someone has pictures posted in another thread: if not for your cabin, the same one a deck or two up. You'll see what I mean. Do a search. Unless you're prone to motion sickness, either location would be fine. I was in 8120 on the Miracle a few decks up from your 5110 and 5112, and we had no problems....of course, I think I was born to sail. I have never had any problems with motion sickness...even in some rough seas!

Have you or anyone you are travelling with ever served for two or more years in the Military? If so, you can get at least one cabin for a reduced price, if they are still available for your sailing. Sometimes they even run specials wher you can book more than one cabin at the reduced price.
