kathyjack Posted July 27, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2004 We took our three granddaughters to Disney World last year. Our daughter had a great way of packing her 7 year old daughters clothes, so I thought I'd pass it on. She picked out all her outfits including underwear, socks, shorts, shirts, etc. for each day and packed each outfit into a big zip lock bag. All our granddaughter had to do was grab a bag and she was ready to get dressed for the day with everything matching perfectly. She was always the first one dressed each morning and we had absooutely nothing to do with it.
Frequent Floater Posted July 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2004 This also worked wonders for my clothing challenged DH
kathyjack Posted July 27, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 27, 2004 Great idea. I always pack and pick out my DH's clothes each evening for the next day. If I didn't, I wouldn't claim him. I can't even imagine what combinations he'd put together. This just might be something I'll have to try. Thanks!
zakity Posted July 28, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 28, 2004 I roll undies and socks inside the shorts/pants and then the shirt gets rolled on the outside.

cruisinqt Posted July 28, 2004 #7 Share Posted July 28, 2004 I noticed that some of you mentioned you were cruising in the winter months with kids. Our first cruise was in the winter with our kids. Unfortunately, they had a growth spurt and couldn't fit into the summer sandals they had worn just a few months ago. :( And to make matters worse, none of the stores had sandals or flip flops available! So now we always buy a pair of sandals at least a half size larger for each kid if we are doing a winter cruise with them. :) You might also stock up on stuff you will only find in the summer. We have already bought sunblock, waterproof cameras, sunhats, flipflops, sandals, watershoes, and arm floaties for the little one. :D It is surprising how many of these things are seasonal and can only be found in the summer time!
