mprucha Posted February 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2007 We're taking our first cruise in May on the Miracle and have heard various things about what is closed on the boat when in port. The casino they say for sure is closed but I've also heard about the pools, or certain bars to certain shows and food areas. Can someone clarify?? Thanks! MamaParrotHead Posted February 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2007 On the Valor, the Sports bar was only open after we'd leave port. The casino is certainly closed and I think the onboard activities were pretty much shut down. I'm uncertain about the shops, I'm fairly sure the pools are still open and food areas still have the same hours. jleq Posted February 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2007 While in port itself: ...pools open ...shops closed ...some bars closed/hours shorter ...main restaurant usually [but not always] closed/buffet open ...not many "structured" activities [you're "on your own"] Things reopen shortly after you leave port itself
