Albatros in Largs, Scotland

We where visiting some friends in a small sea side town in Scotland called Largs, when I got a text message from our friend who was shopping in town to say there was a cruise ship in town!, so a 5 minute walk latter I was down at the sea side to see Albatros anchored of the coast. - 2016

We where visiting some friends on Phillip Island, Australia and this day I noticed a couple of bus that had a Seaborn label on them running around town so I check out Marine Traffic and found Seabourn Encore anchored off Rhyll, Australia, so we decide to go for a drive and check her out: - 23rd Jan 2018.

Carnival Inspiration Oct 2019

As you can see, fog rolled in rather abruptly during a life boat drill.

We may or may not have played a prank on a friend who did not make this cruise.

A properly cropped photo showing dense "smoke" and life boats in the water along with a message that may or may not have lead the friend to believe we were in a life boat off the coast of Mexico, being evacuated due to "an issue" on board.

Hi everyone!

Wanted to check in and see how you all felt about maybe retiring this thread–it would not be deleted, only closed to additional posts–and we start a fresh topic for Images of Ships in Port. Why? I think the original post was made a decade ago (some ships might be out of commission or sold/renamed?) and at 71 pages, impractical for a leisurely look at some photos 😉

We would also be able to link the original topic into the first (or second) post of the new topic, so it would be easy to access within the new topic.

I'll wait for comments to see what you think and it's sounding like a good idea, we can move ahead with a fresh new topic.

Thanks to everyone for making this a fun, informative, and creative forum, true to the Cruise Critic community style 💯😎

Colleen
