plane2port Posted February 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2007 We sailed on the Celebration last November, and have just booked the Holiday for April. Folks, the prices on these ships are awesome, and we just couldn't resist. I believe these are the same class of ships. I was just wondering how our experience will be different on the Holiday. We liked the food, crew, and most of the entertainment on the Celebration. We didn't like how you can't get from one end of the ship to the other on all decks. However, I much prefer these smaller ships. We went on the Celebration after having sailed on Mariner a few months before. Just too many people and the crew were exhausted. Ships are virtually identical as they are sister ships. On the Holiday, you can't get from one end of the ship to the other on all decks, either. But now that you know that and know how to get around, it shouldn't be a problem :) Decor is different, but other than that, if you liked the Celebration, you will also like the Holiday, for all the same reasons. The crew on both of these ships really are superb, with all else being great, too. But the crew really makes these ships IMO.
plane2port Posted February 21, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted February 21, 2007 Thanks, Dixe Lee. We are really excited about our upcoming cruise. We're also really excitied about the short drive to Mobile port. Wish some other ships would come there.
hdawson Posted February 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2007 Perfect sized "cruise" ships. I, for one, don't care for the behemouths.
MrPete Posted February 21, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2007 They are only slightly different. The Celebration and Jubilee were identical.
