Cruise To Relax Posted February 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2007 We are considering booking one of these cabins but they look slightly different shape - appear to "bump" out about half way back. Has anyone been in these rooms? If so, would love to know something about these two rooms and if they are good rooms. Thanks.
Sale Away Posted February 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2007 We were in 7087 on the Oosterdam last year. The "bump" or "handle" into the hallway that you see is where the bathroom is located. Because it's set off from the rest of the room, it felt like we had more actual cabin space than in the rectangularly shaped other S cabins. The downside is that the bump on the outside gives you a slightly smaller verandah. We loved the cabin though. We decided to try an aft this year with one of the really large verandahs as a comparison to see if we'll actually use the verandah more. But I wouldn't hesitate booking either 7087 or 7088 if available.
