best place to buy rum?

From my experience in the Dominican Republic, the cheapest place to buy rum was one of the local grocery stores. Are there any local shops in Ocho Rios that sell rum? I am not looking for the duty free shops or the tourist shopping malls-I know they sell rum there. I want to buy my rum where a local would buy it.

We bought it at the mall plaza near the port and found that it was super cheap there; I'm sure if you ventured out it would be even cheaper, but a cab ride would offset the cost. My friend loves Flor de Cana which is 15 yr aged rum and it was dirt cheap in Jamaica... empty suitcase here we come!:cool:
