johnaricka Posted March 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2007 Sailing on the Pride this summer and I am wondering what goodies are onboard? Miniture golf? Rock wall? anything? Thanks in advance!!
LuckyNRobin Posted March 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 1, 2007 I sailed on the Pride in January '03. No mini golf, no rock walls... you'll find that on RC lines. The shows were awesome though! The dining phenomenal, and the staff wonderful as always!!! They do have a huge pool slide! But it's only open during certain hours, and not at all while the ship is docked! Have fun! It's a great ship!
johnaricka Posted March 2, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted March 2, 2007 I thought I saw some pics online from a member that showed a mini golf. Bummer!
suziehmkr Posted March 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2007 IThey do have a huge pool slide! But it's only open during certain hours, and not at all while the ship is docked! This has changed. On our cruise in January, I am almost certain that it was open at least a little bit of time on port days. I know it was open during the Cabo afternoon because we watched the line. They do have limited hours - and it also depends on the wind at the time. They closed it before setting sail out of Cabo. The slide was redesigned and we had a great time on it. While the Pride doesn't have the rock wall (we didn't even climb it when on the Legend) or mini golf (we only played that once on the Legend) - we did find PLENTY to do. The Pride is our favorite ship right now.
