Is it possible to find any quieter or out of the way spaces outside on the upper decks? I'm pretty sure that our sailing is full, so I'm wondering just how difficult it will be to find a chair to call home.

 

Also, are the pool and sports decks wooden? I love wooden decks...;)

You wont find it a problem, even with a full ship to find a deck chair. It may not be in the first row at the pool, but there are plenty of chairs. I dont remember about the wooden decks, except the promenade deck, that I know is wood. You will have a wonderful time. The only warning I can give is get to the theater early to find a seat. All else will be fine.

Back of the ship near the "adult pool" is nice overlooking the wake.. and kinda under the disco.. there's usually some shade.. nice place to sit and read a book, pool, bar = all you need IMHO:)

We just got off the Caribbean Princess and most of the decks are wooden. The back of the ship is your best bet for a quieter place. You will have to get to the theatre early to get a sit for the shows. The movies under the stars is great! Have fun!

Sorry, did you have a question about my answer? Specifically about the theater? I was referring to the ships theater, where you can have a problem finding a seat unless you arrive early.

On our CB cruise, if you weren't at the theater by 8:00 for the 8:30 show, then only a few scattered single seats were left.

 

However, if you were willing to go to the late show, there were seats available for that.

The Terrace Pool area at the rear of the ship is very nice. Sundowners ( I believe it is called) Bar area is just above it.The pool is for adults only and nice view off the back.

When we sailed in 2004 the late Theatre Show was at 10:30 p.m.

First show was at 8:30 p.m.
