Conquest VIP "Group" question

I've been searching on this issue, and came up empty. Initially, my TA said that our whole group would get VIP privileges for boarding/unboarding do to out group size (20 rooms). Now she is acting like she didn't say that. Do "groups" of this size get any preferential treatment?

Not, unless the entire group are all Platinum or booked in Suites.

IF your TA said that, she made a mistake.... we usually cruise with more than double that amount of cabins and are treated like everyone else. And we've had groups on our cruises with 600-700 people and saw them waiting in line like everyone else. Those that are platinum, in suites, or handicapped, CVD will be allowed priority boarding... but they don't get to take the entire group.

Yeah that!

I DID however see one exception on our last cruise. There was a wedding party and they were all rushed through VIP priority boarding.

Very true!! We were in a wedding party in October and had to arrive no later than 10:30... VIP boarded right behind us, it was LOVELY!!!!!!

Thanks a lot. Also, what about if 2 passengers are handicapped?

The handicapped person and one family member will be allowed to board through Special Needs...not through VIP, unless they fit that criteria, too.

contact specialneeds@carnival.com for information. You'll need their names, booking number, etc.
