?????hump Rooms, 9th Deck, Mariner Of The Seas

Recommended Posts

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE HUMP ROOMS, AS TO WHETHER THEY ARE SMALLER OR BIGGER, ROOM OR BALCONY, PATICULARY ROOM # 9612 AND 9614??

We stayed in 9612 last August and the room was a normal D1. The balcony was the same as was the sq.ft. of the room. Here are some pictures we took of 9612.

From hallway looking into the room:

From sliding doors looking back into room toward enterance door:

Hope this helps!

Somebody?????????????????????????

those hump cabins do have better views than the standard cabins you can see forward and aft in the center forward in the front ones and aft in the back ones. Plus it is close to the elevators and stairs and it is a very quiet location as well.

Have a great cruise

This is quite true.

Here is a picture taken from our balcony in 9612 looking towards the front of the ship during sail away.

Hump cabins are the same size as the other cabins in the same category (D1, D2, E1, etc), they just stick out a little further than the rest of the cabins. I think this is to make room for the elevator bank, since they're adjacent to the elevators. Great views to the bow and the stern.

My husband and I stayed in 9622 on the Mariner and absolutely LOVED the location! It's central to everything and was one of 2 cabins that were the most "humped"! I'm not sure if you'll be able to see both forward and aft with either of the cabins as it isn't completely "center," but, you'll have a great view and I'm sure you'll be very pleased. Besides, even with the most "humped" cabin, you have to lean over the railing to see front to back.

Book those cabins! :D

I agree Book those cabins. Hump cabins go fast for a number of reasons but the two most popular reasons are the view is better and Location Location location. FYI I scanned the compasses from our 3/18-3/25 cruise too.
