patwell Posted June 3, 2007 #26 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Brown-bagging? Can you explain? Matthew That would be bringing your own lunch onboard....often done in a brown paper bag by us colonials when bringing lunch to work. It was sort of a class distinction thing... You won't die eating in Kings Court Matthew...see it as part of the broad experience...assuming your upgrade to QG gets lost in the mail. And look for the big fat cookies....they were yummy Cheers, Penny Penny’s Affair to Remember QM2 Review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=471053

songanddance Posted June 3, 2007 #28 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Brown-bagging? Can you explain? Matthew It is the modern American version of the double banger and dark bread meal in a tin taken off to labor. One might toss in a pint of stout for good measure. lannp Posted June 3, 2007 #29 Share Posted June 3, 2007 I like the brownies they quite often serve in King's Court on embarkation day.
patwell Posted June 3, 2007 #30 Share Posted June 3, 2007 I like the brownies they quite often serve in King's Court on embarkation day. You're right lannp...I'd almost forgotten those...equally enticing as the fat cookies. I recommend sampling both...one after the other. :D It is the only fair way to make an choice :p Cheers, Penny...all this cookie talk is making me hungry!! Wadadli1 Posted June 3, 2007 #31 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Now you're talking! Matthew Resistance is futile. You may as well surrender to the experience. And smile pretty at Peter's camera, no matter where he may find you. ;)
pnhmrk Posted June 4, 2007 #32 Share Posted June 4, 2007 It is the only fair way to make an choice :p That doesn't work:( You're showing favouritism to the one you eat first. To be truly fair you must have three samplings, 1) A Cookie then a Brownie, 2) a Brownie then a Cookie and 3) One of each, in any order, just to confirm that you've made the right choice:) (Of course they'll be fresh Cookies and Brownies tomorrow so you'll have to repeat the whole process again:p )
