kruella11 Posted April 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2007 My first post! I'm a little shy, so I usually just lurk ;) I was hoping that someone could explain the difference in the inside cabin categories for the Crown Princess. For example, I read that there are the following inside cabin cats: II - I- JJ- J - KK - K - L - M. The website lists the same exact description for each of these inside cats. I just can't figure it out. I thought it was the higher the deck, the higher the cat, but it looks like the Plaza deck has a cat K-L, and M on it. Hmpf  Thanks, Diane in CT
ck53 Posted April 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2007 Hi Diane, I can't answer your question, I just wanted to welcome you! My 1st post wasn't that long ago, after a couple of years lurking.:D
LuvTheGoodLife Posted April 19, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 19, 2007 In determining the class or grade of cabins, the cruise ship industry feels: midship is better higher is better So you could have 2 or more different grades of cabins on the same deck - mid-ship cabins would be rated higher. This same grade of cabin could be on a higher deck but positioned more toward the fore (front) of the ship or the aft (back). Hope that helps. royalprincess Posted April 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Welcome! I had a inside cabin cat. KK on caribe deck. It was a really nice room mid ship. This time I took a cabin on the Lido deck near the pool and buffet:p I hope I don't get sea sick:( royal princess
