Which Hampton Inn San Diego by San Diego Bay is the best

I believe they both have free airport/cruise ship terminal shuttles. However, the Hampton Inn by the Bay is a few blocks from the cruise terminal while the Hampton Inn on ***** is several miles away. The ***** location is more marginal in terms of safety and convenience if you don't have a car. The Bay location is a couple of blocks from the Little Italy area which has many good restaurants.

Just get a room away from the back at the Bay location and I think you'll be much happier. Have a great cruise.

We stayed at the Pacific HWY location. It was very nice, even with the trains outside our window. Our stay included breakfast. The free shuttles from airport to hotel to ship saved us some $$ not having to book them with X. Just call when you get to the airport and they will pick you up at the doors nearest the baggage carousel. The shuttles to the pier started at 11:30 on the day of sailing.

Some pax were staying there after the cruise, too, and got a shuttle from the pier back to the hotel.
