RCCL facilities for deaf/hearing impaired?

I'm considering a cruise later this year and I'm interested in knowing what faciilities RCCL has onboard for hearing-impaired cruisers, such as an indiction loop for hearing-aid users, and English-language subtitled films?

 

Are there any deaf/hearing-impaired passengers who could give any feedback on whether they would recommend RCCL?

I would call the special needs department and see what they have to offer for you. My husband is hearing impaired, but can hear pretty well with his hearing aid. He does however need closed caption on the television. That has been a big problem in the past onboard. Last month on the Sovereign the only programs that were closed captioned were the in room movies that we paid for. No other programs were closed captioned. Same thing with the Brilliance last December. Both times we complained at Guest services only to be told there was nothing that they could do about it. However, both times we were on the Enchantment, all the programs were closed captioned. I guess it's just a hit and miss thing as far as the television goes, but the pay per view movies are definitely closed captioned.
