Best transport from LGA to Red Hook, Brooklyn????

Is a taxi from the airport curb the best way? Or should we reserve a car in advance? How about the return trip from Red Hook to the airport? We arrive at LaGuardia on Friday, May 25 and cruise returns on Tuesday, May 29. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I second that. Cab from LGA (probably around $25 plus tip) and pre-arranged car service on the way back. Just do a google search for "Brooklyn car service" to get a list of companies. Plus the benefit of this is that they'll know where the Red Hook terminal is.
