fozzy Posted May 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2007 Are there taxis waiting at Gov beach to take you back to the ship? Or do we have the beach bar call for one? Thanks
ChrisMW Posted June 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 18, 2007 Not sure about the taxis as we ended up walking to and from Governor's Beach last October. It takes less than 30 minutes from the cruise port. This beach has been our favorite so far on our cruises. The water is warm, clear, calm, sandy, and good for snorkeling. The beach was not crowded and there were no vendors walking around.

Also people have said you have to rent chairs there is this true if so do you know how much they are? Thanks
ChrisMW Posted August 27, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2007 Sorry it has taken so long to reply. I have not been on in awhile. When we were at Governor's Beach last October there was a stand selling canned pop, beer, water, and snacks (chips). I cannot recall what else they were selling. We just bought 2 soft drinks which I think were about $2.00 each. When we went to sit down on the beach chairs a guy came over and charged $5.00 each - he then moved them further down where we wanted them and was very appreciative of our small tip ($3.00). There are also bathrooms there. Hope this helps and enjoy!
