CASHIPman Posted August 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2004 Does anyone know if QM2 has been to Bermuda yet? If not, any ideas as to when she'll make her maiden visit? Thanks!

CASHIPman Posted August 11, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted August 11, 2004 I seem to recall someone mentioning that the quay at Royal Naval Docklands was designed deep enough to accomodate QM2 but I don't know for certain. I'd be surprised if Hamilton Harbor would be able to handle QM2. St. Georges??? I dunno...anyone??
cruise44 Posted August 12, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2004 The Queen Mary 2 can fit at the Royal Naval Dockyard, and other large ships such as the Voyager of the Seas are already planned to go there. I think the draft is too deep for Hamilton and it might be too long to turn around in Hamilton Harbor. It definitely won't fit through the channel in St. George. Winchester Posted October 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted October 21, 2004 Dockyard would be my guess as well, but before the dockyard was available, QE2, Oriana, and even the 59 Roterdam anchored out near dockyard and Bermuda ferries took folks in to Hamilton.
