What to do? 1st time in Nassau

Hi,

My husband & I are visiting Nassau for the 1st time in two weeks. We're on the Imperial Majesty. We only have from 9-5:30 to see stuff. I'm a photographer & don't want to do the typical tourist stuff. My husband wants to see stuff too -

 

from what I see - the #10 Jitney is great for getting to places, we're looking for great suggestions to see & do... I would say take a scooter, but from my reading here on the board - you take your life in your hands on them.

 

Also, any great non-tourist restaurants?

I would not rent a scooter. They drive like crazy there. I would go to Atlantis or do the historic walking tour.
