I have always wanted to- or even just to sleep wiht the door open. But I am scared to death that someone would throw me overboard while I slept or something. Whats wrong with me? Tell me its ok to nap/sleep outside.

My 30 year old nephew did a couple of years ago for every night (except the last) of a seven night cruise. He was sharing a cabin with his sister, BIL and niece, a little too crowed for him so he took his mattress off the top bunk and put it out on the balcony and slept on it(until the room steward came in on the last day of the cruise and realized what he was doing and told him he couldn't do that any more!) He loved sleeping out there and we had the extended balconies on the Pride so there was enough room to do it!

I frequently leave the balcony door open and have the fresh air at night. Mind you this is usually in January in the Caribbean. My 21 yr old son loves to sleep out on the balcony. It's a cruise. Live a little!

Did you know that while you slept in the bed in your cabin, someone could come in and slit your throat while you slept ?

*LOL*

Anything can happen ........that doesn't mean it will :)

Enjoy

I have never purposely set out to sleep on my balcony , but i have nodded off and enjoyed a very nice nap out there

Keeping the door open will mess up the air conditioning.

I HAVE THOUGHT OF THIS!!! I had a dream that a drunk guy came in while we were sleeping- threw my fiancee overboard and I jump in after him with a blowup raft that is in the closet.......................

Yes I am a bit on the crazy side. :D

One night when DH was snoring, I slept out there for several hours.

I have a feeling that may be me snoring & sleeping on the balcony while wifie has that cozy Carnival bed. Does the casino close at nite ? :D

Yes the casino closes, according to how busy they are. Usually around 2.

I usually get a pool lounger and sleep at least once on the balcony.

Ok, our first balcony cabin cruise is coming next month and I really would like to have a pool lounger on our balcony......how did you get it from the pool to the balcony? You just carried it up yourself? No one stopped you or said anything?

a regular balcony cabin can't fit them. You get 2 chairs and a table.
