Bebet Posted May 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2007 I've probably asked this before and never bookmarked it. I've tried a search and google. What is the web site that you can look up to see how many cruise ships are in your ports? Thank you

Krazy Kruizers Posted May 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 23, 2007 I use cruisecal all the time. It is 99% correct. Some of the small cruise lines aren't listed there.

bojomitch Posted June 9, 2008 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I have used cruisecal.com for a long time, but now find the site is requiring a fee. Thanks, but no thanks.
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 9, 2008 #7 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Since cruisecal started to charge a fee - just happened about 3 months ago, I just go to the ports themselves and some of them do list what ships will be there on a given day. Really do miss cruisecal.

Putterdude Posted June 9, 2008 #9 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Here is the free alternative: http://porttime.com/
cot427 Posted June 9, 2008 #10 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Porttime.com is wonderful, I justed started using it when Cruisecal.com started to charge, and I think it's way way better than Cruisecal.com
Mapu Posted June 9, 2008 #11 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Thank you putterdude and cot427. That was exactly what I was looking for. When did cruisecal start charging? I am sure I used that in the past and was surprised to see that you now had to subscribe? Porttimes.com is now book marked!
Barek Posted June 9, 2008 #12 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I've probably asked this before and never bookmarked it. I've tried a search and google. What is the web site that you can look up to see how many cruise ships are in your ports?Thank you Here are the best two sites that I've found: For ease of use: http://porttime.com/ - the only downside is that it doesn't show when each ship is in port (frequently, some of the other ships either leave before your ship arrives, or they arrive after your ship departs). For detailed information: http://www.claalaska.com/pdf/2008/ALL_08.pdf - it's a single calendar document that you need to scroll through to find your dates. A little slower to use, but it shows time of day that each ship is scheduled to be in port, and even which berth in the port each ship is scheduled to use. To figure out the port codes for that table, use this: http://www.claalaska.com/pdf/2008/PortCodes.pdf and to figure out the berth codes, use this: http://www.claalaska.com/pdf/2008/BerthCodes.pdf
