vfb2girls Posted June 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2007 For anyone who has recently ended their cruise in Vancouver what is the situation with getting a taxi? Can't decide if we should book our transportation with Carnival or just wait it out and get a cab. I know in the past it has been mentioned that the lines for taxi's can get pretty long. Tobintemp Posted June 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2007 The taxi line downstairs are usually quite long, so we usually go upstairs in front of the Pan Pacific and catch a cab there immediatly (with a tip to the door man at the hotel). You can also get the Vancouver Airporter up there as well if taxis are in short supply. It is just as quick as a taxi since from the Pan Pacific it usually only makes one stop. You have to be able to manage your own luggage as you can't take the luggage carts upstairs and there is a bit of a steep ramp to walk up.
