AOS southern route - Port or starboard?

Recommended Posts

Is there a preference for better scenery?

I have sailed on the AOS 3 times and with the exception of an aft cabin this past February, we have always been on starboard and loved it. In terms of scenery, it depends which way the ship is in port - sometimes it backs in, in which case your view will be out to sea....I have found that the only port the ship really backs into is St. Thomas and even then you will still have a great view of the island. :)

It won't matter one iota! You'll be sailing in the Caribbean--there's beautiful scenery all around--and if you can't see what you want to from your balcony, there are plenty of 360 degree views from the upper decks. I mean, you're not planning on staying on the balcony the entire trip, are you?
