Aft Balcony on Legend

Recommended Posts

Hi -

After reading these boards I have a question re: the aft balconies on th Legend. I am current booked in 8580 (end) however it is my understanding that the "best" aft balcony is 8086 (middle). I think someone mentioned the balcony is bigger - does anyone know how much bigger or if there are any obstructions in 8580? Thanks...

It may be what some call obstructions is the steel wall that borders the port or starboard side of the balcony (depending on which side your cabin is on) as they do not "wraparound" like those on Rhapsody or Vision.

Here is a pretty good picture of legend aft

Hi Little Britain - Thanks for the info and for your great review. Sounds like you had a very nice cruise.

We will be on the Legend Transatlantic/Southern Caribbean in December in aft cabin #7132. We are very excited about the cabin.

About the "secret staircase" - does it go down to Deck 7 or is it only between 8 & 9?

Thanks.

Hello,

I believe that the end rooms only have a view out back, not the side. I am pretty sure that there is a wall blocking the side view. I don't remember the room number, but we stayed in an aft JS next to the end, 8582. The middle room had a slightly longer balcony, but ours was quite large. It had 2 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, and a table. There was a little soot, so if you are wearing something light, check the chairs first! I loved our room, and am now hooked on aft balconies.
