What to do in Puerto Aventuras Mexico

Hi

We are staying at the Catalonia Riviera Maya in Puerto Aventuras , Mexico for seven days. We are looking for information on what to do and see. We will be renting a car. Any info will be appreciated. Also is it safe to drive.

I just got back yesterday from the Catalonia Royal Tulum and loved it. I haven't seen your hotel, but I assume it's similar. The service was very good, my suite was gorgeous, food was not gourmet but perfectly tasty. There's one main road that runs from Cancun all the way south through Riviera Maya, so you should have no problem driving locally. I took a bus tour to Chichen Itza in which we drove inland....signs there were less clear to me.
