? Restaurant suggestions near Sheraton Wall Center Vancouver

Recommended Posts

Hi: My husband and I are planning 2 postcruise days at the Sheraton Wall Center and was wondering if anyone could suggest some nice dining options for about $35 to $40 USD in a quieter place, perhaps within walking distance from the hotel? Seafood, beef and pasta dinners seem to be our favorites. And second, any breakfast recommendations in the area? This is our first time to Canada and really looking forward to seeing your beautiful country!

Many thanks in advance.

Hi - Stayed at the Wall Center last night.

For restaurants, just walk a couple of blocks up to Robson Street where you will have a choice of a dozen great restaurants.

At the Wall Center, try to get a corner suite with a mountain view. Gorgeous views of the North Shore Mountains.

Have a great time. Vancouver is a beautiful city.

Thanks Pacific Sandy and Dam1050!

It's wonderful to know we can have good, nearby dinner choices. We also appreciated receiving the Public Health inspection report now reassuredly knowing Vancouver is really on top of things! Thanks for your prompt replies -these boards are so knowledgeable.

A couple of blocks in the other direction will take you to Davie St, which also has many restaurants. You might want to try Cafe Luxy for pasta ... http://www.cafeluxy.com/. On Pacific St is A Kettle of Fish for good seafood ... http://www.akettleoffish.net/

For something fun you might want to take the little ferry over to Granville Island (either from foot of Thurlow St - Aquatic Centre) on the http://www.granvilleislandferries.bc.ca/ or the foot of Hornby St (street behind your hotel) on http://www.theaquabus.com/visitors.htm. There are several places to eat there -- I like the Sandbar for seafood. http://www.vancouverdine.com/sandbar/location.html

Your concierge at the Sheraton will be able to give you lots of ideas all within walking distance too. :)

dam1050 and Pacific Sandy:

Thanks for the additional info re: Davies Street, Granville Island etc. We will certainly explore those as well!

Pacific Sandy: It is nice to hear that you were at the Sheraton Wall Center. In your opinion, what is the differences between the South Tower and North? If you had a choice, which would you go with?

Thanks in advance for your time and advice!
