New England and Canada

We're cruising to New England and Canada on September 22. I've only done Caribbean, Mexican and Panama cruises............what should I pack? What suggestions do you have for formal nights? I have black gouchos that could be dressed up............or down. Thanks for you help..................Mary

For the Maine area, the weather will be similar to what you have the middle of October. September 22nd is normally autumn here, but one never knows, it could end up in the low 80's. I would dress in layers. Jan

One tip I can give you OT, is to look into the patch or something for motion sickness before you go. You said you've never cruised in this area and that time of year, the waters can get pretty rough. I don't want to be a downer, just want to suggest you be prepared.

 

I second the motion for layers. That time of year, we can get summer or fall- you never know!

Hate the patch, but I always bring sea bands,ginger and Bonine...........thanks for the tip...........the Atlantic is going to be much different than the Caribbean.............Mary
