What to do with luggage while on tour in NO??

We are taking the Conquest out of NO in July. We have scheduled a plantation tour with The Old River Road Plantation Adventure the day of our sailing. Because the tour runs from 8:00 until 2:00, we have to check out of our hotel before the tour. And it is too early to check onto the ship.

So...here is the problem. They do not have enough room in the van for our (3 adults) luggage. The gentleman at the tour place said we could keep our luggage at their office during the tour. (We would actually have to leave it their the night before but that is not an issue) It is a kind offer but I am a bit nervous about leaving all our belongings in someone's office.

Does anyone know of someplace on the pier to keep our luggage? Or do you feel it is safe to leave it with this company??

I know there are a few of you who live in or around NO so your input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bean Queen

Hotels usually have secure areas where they can store luggage short-term. Ask them if they can keept until you return from the tour.
