Boarding Times - Monarch

What time does boarding usually start and can we board earlier? Our departure is set for 5:30 pm. Thanks.

You should try and be at the pier around 11:30 am--as soon as the ship is vacated by previous cruisers, they will begin boarding your group. Think of it this way--you've paid for this 1st day--and boarding day is the 1st full day of your cruise--may as well use the ship!

We usually get onboard Monarch bet 11:00 and noon. Our longest wait was about 30 mins (showed up at 10:00 am :D ).

I would arrive between 11 and noon. They may not let you to your room until 1 or 2 but you will still be able to eat in the windjammer, set up your spa appointments or lay out by the pool.

We have had boarding start at a variety of times... usually at about noon.

 

Cabins are open at 1.
