Transportation from BWI to pier?

Recommended Posts

We went from the pier to the airport in May to get our rent-a-car. There were 13 of us and we ended up splitting up 3, 4, and 6. The six of us were in a SUV - it was a little bit of a shaddy deal. We were standing there and somebody asked how many, and the next thing we know she told us to follow this guy and he only had one vehicle there, the other wasn't back yet (he wanted us to wait because he didn't want to lose the fare). so six of us ended up with him and after we were packed and into the vehicle he told us it was 15 bucks a person (90 bucks). The four people only paid 30 bucks for their taxi and the three people paid 40 bucks for theirs. So I guess it really depends on who you get. Just ask up front!

Another possibility if you want to cut down on cab fare ...

There is a light rail line connecting BWI and stops in the area of the pier, such as Camden Yards and the convention center. The fare is $1.60. The rail doesn't stop within walking distance of the pier as far as I know, but it would be a much cheaper cab ride. Look up mtamaryland.com for more details.
