Photo prices - Carnival Conquest

Sorry if this is a re-post but I can't find the answer in any of my searches...

 

I know the prices for photos are $19.99 for an 8X10 but do these prices drop at all as the trip progresses and they are inundated with unpurchased photos?

I have heard rumors of it but never the case for us, we have always paid full price even on the last night.

I haven't experienced any price drops in the photos towards the end of a cruise. This is possibly because they recycle the paper somehow. Also the prices have recently increased. The 8x10's are now $22 each with the other smaller ones being $7 and $8. Wife and I went crazy on our first cruise buying lots of pictures but now limit the number we buy and with the recent price increase, we buy even fewer.
