Want to get to the beach, but not sure how. The shuttle website said they only run Monday-Saturday...........has anyone been there on Sunday because we would like to go to kahaluu Beach Park and we leave port at 1:00p.m.

We were in Kona on a Sunday in February. The only shuttles I saw were Princess tour buses/shuttles and the WalMart shuttle. I did not see any beach shuttles when we were there. Doesn't mean they weren't running - but I didn't see them. There is a small beach at the tender pier. There were several people using it. And if you walk along the waterfront to the right, you will end up at another small beach. I didn't go over there - just noticed it from a distance.

btw - if you decide to visit the seahorse farm on Sunday, the only way you can do that is through the ship's tour. They don't open to the public on Sundays.
