Any suggestions for first time cruisers? thanks! Leigh-Anne You can go to the Roll CAll section and see if your cruise is listed there. Its in the root forum section. And there is also an area dedicated solely to us noobie cruisers as well. Enjoy!

Leigh-Anne V Posted August 18, 2004 Author #8 Share Posted August 18, 2004 How about we pick a time to meet? We're not sure of our cabin yet ... we have a GTY. What seating are you for dinner? We chose the latest one. Leigh-Anne
rnjoel Posted August 18, 2004 #9 Share Posted August 18, 2004 We also picked a GTY, but I think we're in cabin E137. If not, call the operator....name is Joel Wilder. We requested late dining, but don't think that's confirmed til you're onboard. Where are y'all coming into Florida from?? Happy Sailings!
Leigh-Anne V Posted August 18, 2004 Author #10 Share Posted August 18, 2004 We live in Canada, but we're flying into Florida from Buffalo. We arrive in Tampa on the 23rd, then we're going to drive over to Orlando for a couple of days befoe coming back. Our cabin is under John Vervaeke. That would be great to meet some people from the board! Can't wait to leave .... counting down .... lol
serene56 Posted August 18, 2004 #11 Share Posted August 18, 2004 LehighAnn: did you get your documents yet?? on the back of the sign and sail page willbe a very long number that starts with your booking number. Your cabin number will be located in that number--unless you booked within the past 50 days or so. Then you will see GTEE. Sensation is my favorite ship- she was my first cruise. Make sure you go to the gym area and visit the hot tub. No one ever goes in there. I went in there an hour before I got ready for dinner. All that money I saved NOT getting massages. That hot tub was thee best relaxing thing on the ship. Order brownies from room service one night as a bed time snack.. heck--get them the night before you go home--and stick them in a baggie so you will have something to eat while on the plane ride home (dont forget to pack baggies. Augcruise Posted August 18, 2004 #12 Share Posted August 18, 2004 Any of you recent Sensation travelers use Camp Carnival? COmments? Also - I asked and was told quarters are used in the arcade - probably a stupid question but do they have change machines? I don't want to have to caryy $30 in quarters! serene56 Posted August 18, 2004 #13 Share Posted August 18, 2004 They Do have change machine in the casino. You can also get change at the cage. What you dont want to do is gte cash from your sign and sail card --that will cost ya 3% Casino slots do take quarters and nickles.
