How long does it take to debark in Lahaina?

This board has been full of helpful suggestions, now I have a question.

We are sailing POAL 11 nts this Christmas. On Christmas day we will be in Lahaina. I have reserved, on our own, Pacific whale watch trip which requires a 1045a checkin time at their pier in Lahaina. We are scheduled to arrive at 800a. I assume this is a tender port, is it realistic for us to debark in time for our excursion? Thanks!

You should be able to make your excursion in time. I would ask the ship for priority tender tickets so you can be some of the first off the ship. By the way, we did a whale watch through Pacific and it was the highlight of our last cruise. If there's a whale, they'll find em!
