scampi Posted July 23, 2007 #29 Share Posted July 23, 2007 When I used that other link, I found there were 255 "definitions" used for AA. When I first started on these message boards, a CC member gave me the link below: I printed out the first 8 pages & kept it handy.:) Just scroll down past the sales pitch & the first chart "Common Internet Chat Abbreviations" might be just enough to get you started: http://www.webenet.com/internetglossary.htm

dforeigner Posted July 23, 2007 #32 Share Posted July 23, 2007 I've been on the board for just a few months, and I'm picking up some of the jargon, but the ACRONYMS still drive me crazy... I keep running across new ones I can't figure out. is there a legend page that identifies there mysterious little letters?? DH... DW... MUTS... CB... TA... AA... OBC... it just never ends... AHHHHHH!!! Here is a site that may come in handy: http://www.acronymfinder.com/
Jaxsonbrownie Posted July 23, 2007 #33 Share Posted July 23, 2007 DH may = "darling", but DW is definitely "dear." After all, how dizzy can she be if she's the one who does most of the cruise arrangements? DH can also stand for D*ick Head! :D
