Luluwa Posted July 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2007 I am escorting a group cruise to Cozumel in October 2007 and thinking about taking them out to Mr. Sanchos for the day. I'd love some CURRENT information and/or photos and opinions on this property. This group is somewhat conservative and wants a bit quieter experience with a nice beach, snorkeling, food and drinks. Thanks!

jobster71 Posted July 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Try some current pictures on webshots.com or click on my April cruise. It is a nice beach and very peaceful. Also try the Cozumel boards.

Thanks! I was there a couple weeks ago and it was great. Nice and quiet with great food and people who weren't intrusive. Check out a couple of threads on the Coz board and there is up to date info. I have pics but I am not posting me in a swimsuit, lol. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=589959

crusingirl01 Posted July 24, 2007 #7 Share Posted July 24, 2007 I can not say enough good things about Mr. Sanchos. My family does not drink and no one ever questioned them or made fun of them for not drinking (I have had that happen somewhere else). The food is great and the beach is wonderful. I think you guys would really enjoy it.

Kurbanfan Posted July 24, 2007 #9 Share Posted July 24, 2007 Shhh....no more talk about Mr. Sanchos. Let everyone else go to Paradise Beach so we can keep it all to ourselves;)
crusingirl01 Posted July 25, 2007 #10 Share Posted July 25, 2007 I agree, with Kurbanfan, that is what makes Mr. Sancho's so wonderful...not to many people.

You simply walk off the ship and you will find that taxis abound. About $15 ish one way for 4 people. And don't worry about taxis to get you back...there are more taxis than sand in Cozumel. Just make sure you keep your watch in ship time and ignore Cozumel time. Have a great cruise.
peersurgurl Posted July 25, 2007 #14 Share Posted July 25, 2007 They have the nicest people at Mr. Sanchos. I was extremly hungover and dry heaving uncontrollably when we arrived. A nice man escorted me to the restroom, brought me a bottle of water and told me to stay there as long as I needed. About 15 minutes later when I came out he was waiting on me and took me to my friends. 5 minutes after that when I realized that I couldn't sit on a beach all day, another really nice man escorted me to the entrance and put me in a taxi run by Mr. Sanchos (taxi driver was great also, he pulled over twice for me to get sick). I didn't spend much time there so I can't comment on the services, but the workers were very nice.
