Leo Jay Posted July 25, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2007 We're planning to board Miracle as soon as they allow us -- are the bon voyage gifts usually in place by then, or might they not be ready until closer to "official" embarkation time, or even later? It would be nice to have the flowers or whatever in the room when we get there to surprise the GF. And now that I think about it, I guess if they're delivered later, I'd naturally want to tip whoever delivers them... but if they're already in the room, the delivery guy doesn't get a tip? Also, are there any significant pros or cons to ordering from Carnival's service as opposed to an independent sailaway gift service? Thanks. zipper1 Posted July 25, 2007 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2007 When we sailed the Miracle last year, the gift was in the room for my DW when we went to our room at about 1:30.

Leo Jay Posted July 25, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted July 25, 2007 My daughter's gift was already in the room when we got there. What time was that? I'm asking because we're planning to board as early as possible.
travlngrl1996 Posted July 25, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2007 We were told by signs on the ship to not go to the cabin until 1:30. When we got to the cabin at 2:00, our gift that we ordered from Carnival was there and waiting.
