Princess Arctic Cruisetour

We did the Arctic cruisetour 3 years ago. Yes, it is worth it. But I have to warn you the accomodations at Prudhoe and Coldfoot are not what you might expect, but I guess that is part of the experience. At Prudhoe, there is only one place and it might best be described as trailers put together to make dorm rooms. My husband and I still laugh about it. But putting your feet in the Arctic Ocean, staying up and watching the sun NOT set, having a picnic lunch on the tundra, etc. are unforgettable. It's such a unique experience. And you don't have to worry about crowds:-)

Did this cruisetour in 2005. The trip of a lifetime. Accomodations in Prudhoe were elegant compared to Coldfoot. Touching the Arctic Ocean was spectacular, but cold.

I would recommend doing the land portion first because it is quite tiring.

Scenery north of Fairbanks was spectacular. Enjoy it!
